GiveAwAY TuesdAY! Movie Lust

I have to say that I was much disappointed that I never got to see Anonymous. Very disappointed. I mean, look!

I just love Derek Jacobi. And it was playing two towns over. TWO TOWNS. And I couldn't get there. It's been a busy month, and December isn't looking any less squeezy. I don't get to the movies that often (or get to watch the one TV show I like--I'm woefully behind on Vampire Diaries...

We interrupt this blog post for a bit of eye candy :)
Anyway, I have a lovely list of films that I must see:

SHERLOCK! (Opening two days before my birthday... just sayin')

HYSTERIA (Naughty and Victorian)

THE WOMAN IN BLACK (Creepy and Victorian)

HUGO (So amazing!)

And of course there's the Hobbit--but that's a LONG way off--all of these are coming soooooon! So with anticipation, good stories and the cinema in mind, I am giving away a SIGNED copy of Brian Selznick's The Invention of Hugo Cabret! WOW!

I'm signed. Love me. :)

To Enter:

* Leave me a comment with your email addy!

I'll do a random drawing of all entries on Tuesday, December 6 (I really need to set up that app-does-everything-for-you-contest-thingy--next time!). And this is INTERNATIONAL dahlinks!

  1. Oh! GOOD MORNING, NATALIE!! I am the first post yea!! :) I just got NETFLIX and was so thinking about starting to watch Vampire Diaries(I havent had a chance to jump on the book bandwagon yet either.) and you just convinced me! No to just decide if I will at least read the first book before the TV show or not...hmmmm?? :) <3 Sarah Dowlin

  2. I, too, am sad I've never gotten to see Anonymous especially since it's release date was my birthday and I even spent it in a major metropolitan city and they didn't even get the movie. My super small town does have a movie theater but they tend to get family movies. I requested that they get Hugo and they've promised me that they will. Hopefully between now and the end of the year I'll see that one.

  3. I need to watch more movies. I am catching up on Vampire Diaries using netflix. I think I am at episode three but NaNoWriMo is almost over and you can watch TV while wrapping presents.

    I love Hugo :) email is rosedust626@hotmail.com

Thanks for having contests Natalie. You and Glee are the only things that get me through Tuesdays ;)

  6. Dahlinks! Thank you for visiting!

Sarah--I do not think you will regret watching TVD... although it is addicting. I don't know how I go so far behind (not going to admit HOW far...)

Sweet Jenny--I think we shall have more luck with Hugo. I'm gonna guess that it'll have a wider distribution. I take small comfort that I will be able to watch Anonymous at home soon (but it's just not the SAME without the popcorn experience, you know?)

Patty--this is a GOOD idea. Will probably be licking more envelopes than wrapping this year (probably safer for me as I am bad at multi-tasking!)

    Mama--Thank you so much!!! xxx

  9. We already have the book, so please don't enter me. But we loved Hugo (seeing the movie spurred my 10yo son to finally pull the book off his shelf and give it a chance), and thanks to you, I now want to see Hysteria and Woman in Black.

In case you haven't seen the previews, one I REALLY want to see (must find sitter) is A Dangerous Method.

  10. I've followed Vampire Diaries and I only seen Sherlock Holmes (the first movie). Some of the others look very interesting. Thanks for doing another great giveaway--my son, who's 12 is interested in this book. I read some of his books too, trying to stay young at heart:)
