GiveawAY TuesdAY! Do you feel... LUCKY?

Ha Tuesday! Got you at last!

I think I really need to resign myself that things will never be normal (well, that was easy)... and that being the case, well, nothing will really change. But I'm still gonna try to maintain some sort of normalcy for giveaway Tuesday. But don't be surprised if you see this little self chat again. LOL. Now, onto bid'ness...

First, how about the winner of the last set of hints. The lucky winner of the Everything Alice book and Jessica Kagan Cushman bangle is...

!!!AIK!!!

Congrats Aik, and thanks to everyone who's stopped by and commented, or just stopped by :) Hopefully this has been somewhat intriguing. Now, just what ARE all those hints about--cause I added a few more...

We have MUSTACHIOED CHARACTERS...

...and it is VICTORIAN...

...the Alice reference is twofold--I know Alice isn't exactly a YA book, but Alice is young--my new story is YA :) ...and it takes place in one of my favourite locales in the world--the UK...

...the posting on Richard and Mildred Loving (!) hopefully conveyed that there is a ROMANTIC element, and that RACE enters into the story...

...and as can be deduced from my Chinese New Year greeting, there is a CHINESE element--and there are DRAGONS--but different, I think (hope!) than any I've read about--and loved!--to date.

I have one more hint--but first, how about a prize to celebrate that last clue? I am pretty much a fixture at my local Starbucks--I do alot of my writing and reading there. Look what I found on one of my recent visits...

Jade bangle for good luck, Starbucks gift card for good coffee!

A fabulous prize indeed! A $20 Year of the Dragon Starbucks gift card, and a lovely JADE BANGLE (an object of some importance in my story--the revisions of which are currently being reviewed by super-agent Natalie--eek! The inside diameter is about 2.75"). Oh, and the bracelet didn't come from Starbucks (LOL!), but from lovely Ying Yu Jade (if you want to learn more about this wonderful stone, visit their website!) To win...

* Leave me a comment with your email addy (need that so I can contact you if you win), and tell me what your fave starbucks drink is! (for the record, I love a caramel macchiato--with soy milk!)

* This one is an INTERNATIONAL giveaway (I just learned that YES--US-purchased Starbucks cards will work everywhere!).

* The Sheep of Destiny and I will do a drawing of all entries on Tuesday, February 7 :)

<3 Good luck dahlinks! <3

  2. My favorite drink is a green tea frappucino with ALL of the whipped cream. I'm just kind of bummed that they no longer offer the melon syrup with it.

  5. Strawberries & Crème Frappuccino! Because not liking coffee isn't the end of the world and Starbucks understands that, plus the ice cream version of this is a-ma-zing!!!!

    1. Ice cream?! Where? Must look into this... and wasn't there a Shine thingy months ago that went into the "little known" variations on Starbucks drinks... I remember there being one that was like half whipped cream.

  6. I think Starbucks over-roasts their coffee, but I still go there to drink my Earl Grey! Every once in a while I'll chance it for a vanilla cappuccino.

(I'm getting excited about your project!)
