There are many places you can visit close to home to honor those that gave their lives: Visit the U.S. Department of Veteran's Affairs National Cemetery Administration to find the National Cemeteries in your state. Military.com maintains a listing of military museums and memorials dedicated to American service people here and abroad. And every town in every state has a Veterans' memorial--where is yours?

Most importantly, we can honor the dead by taking care of the living--today and every day. Visit The Street's list of organizations that help Veterans to find programs that give the most to those who have given their all.
